| Locomotive No. 4 was ordered by Marquette Cement to match the paint scheme used by the Frisco on its GE 44 tonners at the time. Marquette had leased SLSF #4 for a period before ordering the 45 tonner and liked the paint scheme. It just happened that the 45 tonner was the fourth loco at the plant in Cape Girardeau, thus the number. (Info from Keith Robinson) | ||
